The 198km second stage of the Ruta del Sol ran from Sevilla to Iznajar, which proved to be another challenging day for the riders with three categorized climbs.
The race was decided in the last kilometer, which consisted of a punchy climb with a maximum gradient of 18%. It was Gonzalo Serrano (Caja Rural-Seguros RGA) who took the win, and our Dylan Teauns who finished in third. Despite the victory for Serrano, there was still no change in the general classification as Landa and Teauns remain second and third respectively.
