Bahrain Victorious supported the 3rd edition of the “Trofeo Emozione”, a Junior category race organized by ASD Emozione in Italy, providing a unique prize to the winner as part of the team’s scouting project.

The project aims to bring young riders closer to professional cycling. In support of this, the prize for the winner was an invitation to a full training camp experience with Bahrain Victorious during the team training camp in December.

The prize gave the participants another reason to win the challenging one-day race (127 km from Pordenone to Tramonti, with a 2100m difference in altitude). Undoubtedly, also spurred by such a prize, the 17-year-old Raffaele Mosca (Team Forno Pioppi) took a solo victory.

As a team, we were looking for opportunities to support projects that contribute to helping youth categories, and we are happy with the outcome of his partnership. We’re looking forward to having the winner of the Trofeo Emozione, Raffaele Mosca, at our winter training camp in the next months”.

Raffaele Mosca, the winner of the 3rd edition of the Trofeo Emozione, was delighting with winning a week with the team: “It’s a dream come true. Something you’re dreaming about since you are a kid. Having the opportunity to live such an experience with a team as Bahrain Victorious, to be honest, I still can’t believe it. I’m so excited. I can’t find the words to describe how much I’m happy with that. I’ve almost got goosebumps!”
