In particular, with the advent of the Omicron variant, the medical staff thought it appropriate to introduce the iJen® devices. These lamps allow the sanitation of the environments, thanks to the combination of the germicidal effect of UVC light with the inactivation effect of bacteria and viruses due to the presence of ozone.
The iJen® devices will be installed in our team buses, kitchen truck, and in the athletes’ hotel rooms. Giving the itinerant nature of a cycling team and the difficulties to keep the environment under control, the iJen® devices will become fundamental tools for the safety of our team”.
