Bahrain Victorious are pleased to announce the continuation of its partnership with “Trofeo Emozione”. The project is part of the team’s commitment to promoting talented cyclists and inspiring others to take on the beautiful sport.

Bahrain Victorious supported the Italian Junior category race again, organized by ASD Emozione, providing a unique prize to the winner: an invitation to a full training camp experience with the WorldTour team in December.

Last year’s winner, Raffaele Mosca, got the chance to train with his cycling idols like Colbrelli and Mohorič, and this year, a young rider will experience all the moments of a professional team training camp such as medical/ material testing, media duties and pre-season training programs.

This time the lucky one will be another young Italian cyclist, Alessandro Da Ros (Sc Fontanafredda), who won the 4th edition of the “Trofeo Emozione”, Saturday 23rd July, soloing to victory on the challenging 128 km course from Pordenone to Piancavallo.

“To win such a tough race is something that makes me proud even more because of this fantastic prize. I can’t deny it was extra motivation for giving my best to try to take a win,” the 18-years old Junior cyclist comments enthusiastically after receiving the voucher symbolically to participate in Bahrain Victorious training camp from SD Franco Pellizotti’s hands. In fact, as part of the agreement, a performance crew member of Bahrain Victorious is on the ground during the race, following the crucial phases from a team car and taking part in the prize award ceremony.

“It’s my first time at Trofeo Emozione, and I enjoyed being here to see how this young athlete battled to win the race, also thinking about our team prize as a stimulus for the victory”, Bahrain Victorious SD Franco Pellizotti explains. “As a WorldTour team are always looking for good opportunities to support projects that contribute to helping youth categories. This project aims to bring young riders closer to professional cycling, and we are very proud of the outcome we had with last year’s winner Raffaele Mosca at our training camp. He lived an experience that he treasured for his future career, and Bahrain Victorious is the team who gave him such an opportunity. It’s something to be very proud of, but it’s also an opportunity for us to observe some young talent and why not decide to sign him sooner or later.”
